NOW! radio’s Scaryoke 10th Anniversary: Y2K Edition!

For ten years we’ve been taking over On The Rocks to showcase your karaoke talents backed by some amazing local bands, and that calls for a celebration! Break out your Adidas tearaways, puka shells, blue eyeshadow, Quiksilver shirts and butterfly clips, because we’re celebrating this momentous occasion by throwin’ it back to THE party era – Y2K! We’re talking late 90s, early 2000s, when life was all about JLO’s dress (IYKYK), Furby’s and playing the Backstreet Boys Millenium cd on repeat in your Sony discman. Oh, and did we mention best-dressed win a $250 On The Rocks GC?

This year will be unlike any other as On The Rocks hosts us for a private, NOW! Family only, Scaryoke event on Friday, April 17th. As always, you’ll be invited to enter to showcase your karaoke talents to your friends and the NOW! family, with LIVE BAND The Barkells behind you. The scary part is of course, you won’t know what Y2K hit song you’re singing until you step up on the stage, BUT, wow the crowd and you could win $1000 for your performance!

• Anyone looking to have their name entered into our singing draw drum just has to head over to our registration table, hosted at the entrance of On The Rocks – registration opens at 5:30! If you’re name is drawn to sing on stage with The Barkells you’re automatically entered to win the $1000 grand prize!
• The first 102 people to register to sing will also receive a food + beverage token from our friends at On The Rocks.
• We also welcome anyone who just wants to come down, hang with the NOW! hosts and watch the performances, the more the merrier!

We have a select few tables that we will be giving away side-stage!
