The Simply Supper’s Lemonade Stand Day is a fun program that gives kids the opportunity to run a business, learn about entrepreneurship, philanthropy, marketing and customer service at a young age. Each year on one day, hundreds of youth register to host Lemonade Stands, creating individual events in their community that help raise money for The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. Simply Supper and the sponsors of Lemonade Stand Day provide all registered stands lemonade ingredients, cups, signage, t-shirts and training for kids to run their stands. Did you know there are Stollery sites beyond the four walls of the Stollery Children’s Hospital? On Sunday, August 27th we are Tickled Pink that will have 500+ lemonade events all over the city in support of Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and proceeds from this year’s Simply Supper’s Lemonade Stand Day will go towards renovating the family room at the Stollery Philip C. Etches Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), located at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
This event is planned and managed by Simply Supper and a volunteer committee with the proceeds of this event being donated to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Over the last 9 years, Simply Supper and Lemonade Stand Day participants have donated $1.6 million dollars to our friends at The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
