Once a bustling and joyous summer camp for the children of the NOW! Family, Camp 1023 has fallen silent after “the incident.” But what happened to the children? The counsellors? Where did they go? Theories went wild, but the locals know one thing for sure: stay out after dark and you too might just get lost to the woods…

WHAT is the Haunted House?

The NOW! radio Haunted House is first and foremost a fundraising event in support of the Edmonton Food Bank. It is a team effort, conceptualized, built and run by a dedicated group of station employees and NOW! family volunteers who take great pleasure in seeing you scream in fear!

WHERE is the Haunted House:

The NOW! radio parking lot and garage, 9894 42 Avenue NW, Edmonton, T6E 5V5.

Please Note:

  • Early line ups will not be allowed until 5:30pm, when our neighbours have had the chance to vacate their vehicles from the parking lot.
  • The Haunted House is built in a garage and the line will be outdoors in our parking lot. Please dress accordingly!
  • Our NOW! radio parking lot will be closed for this event. Please find street parking in and around our office.

WHAT DO I NEED to be able to enter?

We encourage all attendees to bring non-perishable food items, or cash donations as an entry “fee” to this free Halloween event. Check out their “most needed items” list here: Most Needed Items

 Please Note:

  • EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON will also fill out an event waiver prior to entering the house.
  • Anyone 18 and under must have an accompanying adult to sign the waiver.

 WHO CAN and CANNOT enter?

  • This is a very spooky haunted house, with live actors. Parental discretion advised for any children attending. We strongly recommend no children under 10.
  • The NOW! Haunted House is unfortunately NOT accessibility friendly. There are parts of the house that require stepping up, down, over and ducking through.

HOW LONG does it take to get through?

About 10 – 20 minutes depending on group size.

Please Note: To keep the flow, we send in groups of 6 people at a time. If your group is smaller you’ll be paired with others, if your group is larger we’ll have to break it up.

WHAT AMENITIES are on-site?

We will have 2 regular and 1 accessible porta potty on-site, as well as Dawg Gone It Food Truck!
